Hunting / Patrols
This is where warriors can hunt and train with
their apprentices. Also, warriors may go on
patrols of the territory here.

*runs in and slams head against the tree
repeatedly* Uuuugh! You stupid mouse-brain! *he
yowled and leaped into the tree; pressing his
forehead against the branch in frustration* What
do I do?! *he cried, a low growl escaping his
throat* (Eeeemoooo hahah XD)

She trotted in, glancing around. "Shard?"

She padded into the forest and sat by the stream,
looking down at it.

*pads threw some bushes far away from everyone*
*leaps on a rock and stares at the sky*
*thinks* ...

She slowly stepped into the stream until it was up
to her neck. She closed her eyes, letting the cool
water flow past her.

*looks at Emberfire* *then at Bluefur* *looks up
at the sky and flattens ears* *leaps silently down
the tree and into the bushes and leaps up and sits
next to Bluefur* bluefur... Emberfire obviously
doesn't know what has happened... what i've told
you. We have to keep it a secret...
*looks at her* You have every reason to hate me
now...

She tilted her head, not hearing their
conversation. "Shardfang...?"

Goodbye, Bluefur *pads over to Emberfire* You're
back!*he purred*
|
She grinned ear to ear. "Shardeh!!" She leaped at
him playfully.
|
She continued her way down the river, almost to
her chin into the water.
|
*purrs loudly* It's been far too long! I've missed
you!
|
She grinned and pawed at his ear and nuzzled him.
"I know right!?!?"

*licks her ear*
|
*ears flatten and glares lightly* ...

*cocks her head* What are you doing Emberstar?
|
*pads in and senses the tension between Shardfang,
Bluefur and Emberfire* Yeesh *pads out* (lol)
|
*bounds in and rams right in between Shardfang and
Emberfire* Can we train now?? *he said obnoxiously*
|
*sighs* Uhh.. sure. Do you want to battle train or
hunt train? Or do you want me to give you a tour
of the territory?

Battle training! *he squeaked excitedly*
|
Alright *he smiled and looked at Emberfire* I'll
be back later... *pads off with Stormpaw*

Shardfang?
|
*runs in as fast as lightning and catches the
scent of a squirrel and he leaps into the tree,
snatches onto it's neck killing it instantly and
barreling onto the ground, then springs up and
dashes into the nearest thicket before catching
the scent of any cat nearby* (all in all that
probably took less than ten seconds o.o XD)
*finishes his meal, burries the bloodless body
and, more slowly this time, scents the air for
more prey now that his thirst has calmed down*

*slinks threw forest and sits in the dark*
**thinks : i could tell.. i was looseing the
battle...** *sighs*...** But time moves, and i
guess i will have too to. ** *lays head on paws
and closes eyes relaxing*...

She laughed and nodded as her mate and his
apprentice left.
|
She smiled slightly at Spottedwing. "Just wading
in the river..." She sighed and looked at the sky.

Oh ok... *wonders why Emberstar seems so far away.*

*gets up and pads out from the shadows*
*stretches and pads to the edge of forest* *lays
on side thinking*
|
She blinked slowly and dunked her head into the water.

*pads back leaps in water next to emberstar
yawning*

She raised her head out of the water and blinked.
She shook her head quickly to dry it and then
looked at Bluefur. "Hiya, Bluefur," she said,
smiling slightly.

*holding head up* Hello...why? why water *ears
flat slightly* *shudders lightly*
|
"Then why don't you get out of the water?" she
suggested, her whiskers twitching with amusement.
|
I wont get out unless you do Why? I dont know.
*swims around slowly*

She smiled. "Well, I like the water." She lightly
splashed Bluefur.
|
*ears flatten* gah! its fine... just ...
slightly annoying. *crawls out of water* land!!
*rolls on back letting fur get covered in dirt*
*shakes it off yawning agan*

She purred in amusement and leaped out of the
water and onto the bank. She shook herself,
getting Bluefur wet. She pricked her ears and
looked over at her. "Eh... soryy," she mewed,
laughing nervously.

...*throws self back in dirt and rolls* its k
*purrs*

She grinned and batted at her ear.
|
*crouches and pounces on you lightly* i win
*purring loudly*
|
She laughed and kciked her off and leaped to her
paws, facing her. "Nuh uh."

*rolls tripping her* *smiles*
|
She landed on the dirt with an "oomph." She looked
up and smiled and pounced for her tail.

*moves tail away* *purring*
|
She grinned mischeviously (however the muffins u
spell it!) and leaped to her paws, facing her.

*sits curling tail around paws* *Blinks* ...
*tilts head* ...
|
"And now you're quiet again," she commented,
tilting her head.
|
*blinks again* quiet? ...
|
She nodded, eying her.
|
*sighs* ... i have nothing to say?
|
She gave a very faint smile. "I haven't talked to
you for moons. Surely you have SOMETHING to say?"

*wearing a confused expression* ... is there
something im suppose to say...???
|
She frowned. "uuhh... I dunno??" She flicked an
ear. She was confusing herself.
|
oi *lays down yawning* I have nothing to say
really... i enjoy the silence sometimes, its
comforting...to me. *thinking*
|
She nodded in agreement and looked at the sky.
|
*sits down in a corner in a bad mood* It's not
fair, dad! Stormpaw's younger than Frostkit and I
are and he becomes an apprentice first! It's not
FAIR! (Sorry that's just his character.)

*sighs and rolls eyes*
|
She looked at Falconkit. "Settle down... You can
become an apprentice now."

*sits up and stretches*
|
*flicks his son's ear lightly with his tail*
Falconkit, treat your leader with more respect,
please. *glances up apologetically at Emberstar*
Forgive my son's impudence. He's rather...eager,
if you know what I mean.

*her eyes glow as she whispers* You mean I'll
become a medicine cat apprentice?

I think thats up to me to decide and I think nows
the time.

*licks paw* Keep the thought... In thought.
*purring lowly*

*ears flatten with embarrassment and his pelt
burns with shame* *gulps nervously* Uh....right....

*laughs lightly* ...

She sighed to herself before padding up to
Falconkit. "I call upon our warrior ancestors to
look after this cat, for he is ready to be an
apprentice. Falconkit, do you swear to train hard
to become a great warrior and always serve your Clan?"

*ears flick* *yawns* ...
|
I do. *he said proudly*
|
I do too. *she whispered, not knowing if she was
supposed to because she was going to be medicine
cat apprentice*

I'll do your ceremony Frostkit. (Wind did that for me)
|
I speak these words in presence of Starclan and
ask of them to approve of Frostkit becoming my
medicine cat apprentice. (I don't really know how
to do a med. cat ceremony, I hope this is good.)
Frostkit, you have served your clan well while I
was gone. Do you, Frostkit, promise to serve your
clan well as a medicine cat and stop at nothing
until your job is done?

I do. *she said it proudly, suddenly confident
that this is her path* (Oh thanks!)

Then until you receive your full medicine cat name
you will be Frostpaw.

*eyes shine as she touches noses with her new
mentor Spottedwing*

*purring loudly* :]

*pads up to Emberfire and nuzzles her* The clan is
at peace again now that you and Emberstar have
returned eh?

*waits expectantly and wonders who his mentor will be*
|
*purring ceases ears flattening* *glareing*...
*sighs but holds head up waiting for it to
end* ...

*gazes sadly at Shardfang* It'll be ok Bluefur...
|
Yet, It wont be. *tail sways on ground
slowly* ... I apreciate your kindness though,
Spottedwing. *dips head*...

She nodded. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I
give you your apprentice name. From now until you
are a full warrior, you shall be known as
Falconpaw." (Does anyone want to mentor him?)

She nodded slightly, glancing sideways at Bluefur.
She turned to Shardfang. "What's going on?" she
murmured quietly. "And don't tell me it's nothing
because I can tell something's wrong..." She
looked at him with concern.

*closes eyes tiredly* .... *yawns* .... [...
tiredly is a word right? XD ]

(I can't, because I'm his dad and it wouldn't
work. I might be too soft on him.) *watches his
son and daughter proudly, cheering* Frostpaw!

*watches her brother happily* Falconpaw! Falconpaw!

*wraps tail around paws purring softly* ... [ i
dun think i will be on much today o.o, D: i wish
everyone could be on at the same time like we
used to lol ]

(That's happened to me once or twice...I remember
Frostkit, before I had to RP her since my friend's
comp broke down, you, Moonclaw, and I were all on
at the same time. It was cool. And then Shardfang,
Sparrowfeather, Frostkit, and I were all on. But
it hasn't happened a whole lot.)

"Okay, Bluefur, will you mentor Falconpaw?" (Hey
Bluefur, are you still deadzies or did you come
back to life? xD )

*stops purring and glaces over at Bluefur* I was
told that you were dead the night you disapeared
and Bluefur and I became very close... nothing
happened. I swear to you. *ears flatten and he
looks away* But you're back... you're alive... It
won't happen again *he said sternly, a low growl
starting in his throat* What have you done? *he
thought to himself*

*pads away* *walks alone and flattens his ears* I
have no reason anymore... *unsheathes claws**pads
faster, and for the first time he felt fear,
Vampireclan was getting stronger, he had already
caused trouble between two she-cats and felt torn*
(omg reminds me of the song Lonely day by system
of a down)

Shardfang! *ran after him*

*whirls**snarls* Leave me alone! *tore off into
the bushes ears flattened and depression eating
away at him*

*flattens his ears and a tear streams down his
face and he stands frozen in his position in
confusion and sadness*

And if you go... I wanna go with you... and if you
die... I wanna die with you... >>>>back to
RP<<<<*he tore across the moor off of Stormclan
territory, feeling sadness and pain, and he could
feel the look of betrayal of Emberfire piercing
into his fur* I have to leave... Never again...
*he thought* I brought this upon... myself..

Shardfang! *she screached and raced after
him**eventually she gets in front of him and
whirls and pins him down* Where are you going?!
You can't leave Emberfire hanging and you're
apprentice scarred by your retort! *she bared her
fangs* You cannot leave! Not when Stormclan needs
you most!

(Go Owl! XD) *tail puffs up in embarrassment and
he just stands there... sadness brimming in his
eyes* Is... is my mentor gone? *he whispered*

*glares and pushes her off* *lowers his head in
anger* You don't understand the pain I feel
everyday for what I have done... *ears flatten at
the secret he has kept his entire life* I... I am
a true monster, Owlwing... I could kill you now
and no one would know... just like I did to my
mother *faces her, eyes blazing*

*a look of hatred spread on his face, and sadness
and flashbacks flooded into his mind* I chose to
join Vampireclan... I wasn't trapped. I chose... I
chose my path..

Shardfang... you... you MONSTER! *she yowled and
leaped at him* You betrayed us! you lied!
|
No! I don't want to kill you! *the fury in his
eyes blinded him and he slashed out a paw and with
unsheathed claws he slashed it across her throat
and across her underbelly*

*falls onto the ground blood welling out of her
body and she shudders* Shardfang... I always...
*faces him* You didn't lie... you didn't lie about
loving emberfire and Bluefur... inside you there
was always a true warrior... I believed you.

Owlwing I'm... I'm so sorry! *tears welled and
streamed down his face at the sight* Please! I
didn't mean to- *hangs head low* I am a wretched
monster...

*the light begins to leave her eyes*
|
*looks at his claws and his reflection glinted in
the scarlet liquid for a split second* Owlwing
*lays down and presses his muzzle against her
forehead* I warned you... I warned you all... I
even warned myself... I should have never- *sobs*
*his claws still unsheathed, blood still dripping
off of them*

*sprints through the leaves and and into the
moor**sees red streaks in the grass and a familiar
brown warrior's pelt in the grass, a monster
towering over her* No... *a feeling of shock
flooded into him like a titlewave*

*closes eyes* Don't die... please... *thinks* This
is what you were meant to do... you chose you're
own path*

*lunges at his former mentor* Traitor! *slams into
him and they barrel into a tussle of blood, claws
and shrieks*

*the fury returning and he tries to fight it*
Stormpaw you don't understand! Get out of here
before-! *eyes go blind with the thirst*

*slashes his shoulder and blood splatters all over
his face* You lied! You lied to all of us! *eyes
blazing with hatred and confusion* What have you
done!? What have you done to Owlwing?! You killed
her! You MONSTER!!!! *strength spreading inside of
him he pins down Shardfang with two paws on his neck*

*tears streaming down his face* I chose my own
fate, kit! *he snarled* Leave it be! *shakes him
off and tore across the moor*

I'm so sorry, Emberfire *he cried* I love you!! *a
load of tears streamed down his face* And
Bluefur.... What have I become? I love you... I'm
so sorry... *he whispered entering the empty
territory* I have to return... to Vampireclan...
have them... kill me. I can't live like this
anymore *he said inbetween pants while he ran*

*looks at Stormpaw* He killed his mother out of
fury, Stormpaw... not willingly *she rasped*
|
he lied! *he cried*
|
*pads over to her* We have to get you back to
camp... Shardfang is gone now... It's over now...
|
Shardfang was valiant... he was true... just
mislead *she got up herself and licked her wounds*
We have to find him *she shook off some loose
blood**a glint of her old adventurous self flashed
in her eyes as she looked at the young kit, she
had felt betrayed by Shardfang in the past, but
they had to find him* You still need him, the clan
still needs him... he is a brave and honest cat...
no matter what choice he has made....

But you! You obviously fought him! You couldn't
have trusted him! *he protested, glaring angrily*
|
*looks at her paws* I was only caught in the
moment... I know now what Shardfang really is...
he's young and confused...

*sighs and looks at the ground* You're... you're
right... *tears streamed down his face* But he's
gone now... and he still killed his mother... he
is a monster, and I can't trust a monster *looks
at Owlwing with knowing eyes* Neither can you, can
you Owlwing? *he knew he shot the thought of
Clawface into her mind*

Shardfang-he isn't like Clawface *she choked out,
a tear falling to the ground*
|
*paces while looking at her* I know his past... I
was told by the old wolf that lives near the
Two-leg place... Bark was his name... Clawface
started out honest and was possessed by one of Red
Spirit's minions... he chose to join the ranks of
evil... he killed his family and- *he could tell
he was upsetting Owlwing* But anyways... Shardfang
could end up like him... just like Clawface... he
killed his mother and probably most of his
siblings during his thirst the first night. *eyes
glint with sadness* (Inm just gessing cause I
wasn't there)

I know the story, you kit!*she snarled* I don't
need to hear it again... *flashbacks of her mother
and father's faces as they were slaughtered by the
huge cougar* But Shardfang isn't evil! You know
how much he loves Emberfire... Have you lost sight
of that?!

*leaps into a tree and presses his forehead
against the trunk in deep depressing thought*
Bluefur! *he cried* Emberfire *he sobbed*
Starclan... please forgive me... *stares up at the
now dark and partly starry sky* I have chosen a
blood-stained path and deserve to roam forever in
the dark forest...

everyone padded off too* *Follows slowly and
silently*

*whacks self repeatedly* How'd I miss this????
*hears distant yowls and races over* Owlwing!

*goes rigid with horror, paws fused to the ground
as Shardfang's anger, despair, sorrow, fear, and
love pours through her in a whirlwind so fast she
can't keep up with it* *gasps and falls to the
ground, feeling like someone is tearing at her
soul with sharp claws* *tears fill her eyes and
she speaks to Shardfang's mind: Shardfang! I'm
going to...* *blacks out*

*writhes on the ground, feeling pure agony knife
through her as Shardfang's decision is made*
*gasps and tries to get up, but she can't*

Oh my god! Frostpaw! Are you bleeding??!! Someone,
tell me what happened!!!!!

Why am I always late?? Owlwing, are you okay? What
happened with Shardfang?
|
(I read the whole blog! What I got out of it was
this, so correct me if I'm wrong: Shardfang wants
to go back to VampireClan because he doesn't think
he can control his vampiric thirst anymore, so he
just wants VampireClan to kill him. Frostpaw,
who's somehow linked to him got all weird I
guess...and Shardfang attacked Owlwing without
really meaning to and Stormpaw is pretty darn
angry. That's all I could really figure out, I'm
sure Owlwing or Shardfang can do a much better job
at this XD.)

"Shardfang!" she cried. She raced over to him and
pressed against him, looking straight at him.
"You're not a monster," she murmured. "You can
feel love, which monsters can't. ...And you love
Bluefur." She looked at him. "And if you're happy
with her, then I am too..." She tried to hide her
emotions as she looked at him.

*sees Owlwing* *gasps* Great StarClan! *glares at
his father and sister* Frostpaw, do something!

*eyes flash as he faces Shardfang* Trust me. I
know what a monster is. *eyes harden as he gazes
into Shardfang's amber eyes* And you're not a monster.

*drags herself to her paws, her mind still
pulsating with Shardfang's mixed emotions, and
grabs some goldenrod and horsetail from the
supply* *chews up the herbs and lays them over
Owlwing's wound, rasping* Falconpaw, get cobwebs.

*his voice becomes softer and more intense* Is
your choice to kill to get out of your
predicament? Is there not another way? Shardfang,
look deeper into yourself. You can't allow
yourself to be driven by this kind of thing! *eyes
glow with pain as he speaks* You suffered enough
when Emberfire disappeared, and now she is
back...surely that is blessing enough? *tears fill
his eyes as he thinks of his own dead dear mate*
And now you would allow her to suffer further by
leaving her when you have just come to see her again?

*growls low and slow* Robin...just...back...away...

*glances back at his mother* I can't, mother!
Frostpaw needs Shardfang; I can't just let him leave!

*stumbles back with a large mouthful of cobwebs*

*nods and grabs them, placing them over owlwing's
wounds methodically* *suddenly feels Shardfang's
emotions stronger than ever and doubles up as the
pain hits her*

"Shardfang, I love you," she murmured truthfully,
looking into his eyes. "I love you more than
anyone, no matter what. Nothing will change that.
But if you love Bluefur, then you have to do what
will make you happy..."

Robinflight... I don't want to hurt you
*unsheathes claws unknowingly* *eyes begin to blur*

Please! *he cried, eyes blazing with the thirst he
lunged at Robinflight and they tumbled to the
ground; Shardfang pinning Robinflight down by one
paw claws out*

No! *tears across the moor over to the fight scene*

Everyone we have to leave! His thirst has never
been this bad before! *she croaked*

"Shardfang!" She leaped at him and shoved him
over. She pinned him down firmly, but not hurting
him. She looked into his eyes. "I know you can
find it inside of you to control yourself...
You're a wonderful cat, Shardfang, and you have a
good heart!"

*eyes turn back and looks into her eyes* I love
you, Emberfire... I'll try... *he whispered and
got up* *looks at the blood on his claws and turns
away* Owlwing's right... it's never been this bad
before though...

She pressed against him comfortingly. "It'll get
better," she whispered.

*races over to them, limping and ignoring the
pain* Shardfang you need to hunt before another
thirst attack comes on... *she whispered*

*rests his muzzle on her forehead* (for some
reason I feel this is copying Twilight haha)

She raced over to Owlwing. "Owlyyy!!! Are you
alright!?"

I'm fine... *she rasped*

*skids to a hault* Is... is everything ok now?
|
(switching back to THIS way of RPing... got used to the other way but i'm switchin' back for stormclan lolzzz)
*glances around* brb *she raced into the med cat
den and grabbed some herbs and ran back* *presses
cobwebs against her wounds* It'll be alright...

*gets up, wincing, but does not falter* I know you

serious. *quickly turns to Skyclaw* Mother, you
must make haste...hunt. Get something. Anything!

*is confused* What? Hunt? Why?

Never mind why; just do it!

I'll hunt too, father! *runs to the forest*

*frowns* If it's that important to you...*turns
and follows Falconpaw*

*jumps on a thrush and bites its throat*

*stalks a mouse in the undergrowth* *just as it
tries to escape, leaps on top of it and snaps its
neck* *quickly picks up both pieces of prey and
carries them proudly over to Robinflight* Look
what I caught!

*gives his son a quick smile* Well done,
Falconpaw. Why don't you find some more for the
Clan? *hastily scoops up both pieces of prey and
pushes them towards Shardfang* Here...

*smiles slightly to Robinflight* thanks... *looks
at Shardfang*

*comes back with a rabbit and two shrews* *drops
them at her son's paws* Is this good?
|
*dips his head to his mother* Thanks, Skyclaw. I'm
glad I can always count on you. *gives Shardfang
the two shrews and rabbit as well*

*sighs* I wish there was more we could do.

*sniffs Owlwing's wounds*

managed, with the help of many rogue armies,

matter to him, he still thought that the way
some cats treated him was unfair.*

down at Wildrush and Rosepaw training**tail
twitches absently**thinks* I remember... my
first training *mind flashes back to Hawkthorn
launching at him, a smaller version of Shardfang
(Shardpaw) dodging his mentors leap by jumping
into the air, and landing on Hawkthorn as he
fell**chuckles*

*hears a chuckle and smiles at Shardfang* You'd
think I'd notice ya up there huh?

*flicks ears in embarrasment then sits up*I'm
always up here *he replied twitching his
whiskers*

*pads in and scents the air, ears flick forward
then backward, listening and scenting for prey,
pads into their clearing*Oh! *he mewed* didn't
see you all here. *pads out, still looking for
prey* (Lol)

*grins*

*nods to Wildrush and Rosepaw* Forgive me for
interrupting *leaps down* I was going to hunt
anyway *smiles and pads out**sniffs the air for
fresh kill*

she smiled "Fighting." she mewoed
proudly "Because, if there is a surprise enmy
attack, I wish to be ready, and fight with the
cost of my life!" she meowed triumphintly

Indeed! *Crouches and tackles her* How do you get me
off? *says with a gleam in her eye*

she was thinking. She had an idea. She raked
Wildrush's belly, claws seathed of course, and
pushed her off with her hind paws. She charged
at Wildrush swiftly, and pinned her down

*leaps at a mouse and kills it in one swift
bite, pads back to camp*

*grins* Good , good! Now, do you know how to do a
hind leg trip?

"Um, I dunno, i'm not a mind reader you know!"
she said "Just let me see if I can get it." she
said, and stood there. "How'a bout you come at
me and see?" she asked

(HAPPY HALLOWEEN) *grins and darted to the left,
then the right, and jumped to the back of Rosepaw,
barreling into her hind legs* Now you try!

jumped to the back side of Wildrush, and ran
into her hind legs*

*grinned as she hit the floor. Stood up and shook
off dust* you're a quick learner. *her ears
flattened as she heard a noise* Here's a quick
hunting lesson....now what do you smell?

yell at me all you want, but I miss StormClan
and I hate how its kind of gone inactive. This
use to be my favorite RP site and I just want to
bring it back. :( I'm sorry if you don't like
